This is not something that is obvious at first, but different parts of your legs are exposed when you assume different working postures through the day.
But these thicker, fullwrap style chaps are heavier and hotter to wear.
So if you are a person who does not like to put up with heavy garments, you might be better off with the lighter, apronstyle chaps, which are less protective, but cooler to wear.
I also had to modify my husqvarna pro forest wrap chaps slightly.
This is why i did not rate these as 5 stars.
The heavy, outer, cordura fabric holds up well to brush, and the fastextype plastic buckles are easy to connect, adjust, and release.
